If your standards are higher then what they were when you were in your prime then yes your standards are too high.

Its like queuing up in mcdonalds watching cheese burgers be sold for free then when you get to the till they charge you money for a cheese burger that has already been chewed on.

Make sure your standards are in alignment with your value which cannot be higher then what you were in your prime.
