This video really hit home for me. The way it talks about love and second chances made me think of my own situation. My fiancé left me after five years, and I’ve been struggling to move on

  • @mishelly says:

This is really helpful. As someone coming from a narcissistic abusive relationship I don’t have any trust left sense of normalcy. I see my friends boyfriend do all of these things too. It’s so soo sweet! I want that, I’ve never had that. It’s confusing when your spouse says they love you cries for you and you don’t know what that means! Well it doesn’t matter the way I want to be loved is like this. One day I will holdout for nothing less.

Matt, this video was good until you used the word “nappy” to describe unkempt hair. I don’t know where you heard that word, but it’s a highly disrespectful racial slur, often directed toward the Black community. It’s neither funny nor entertaining. There are multiple alternatives to get your point across while avoiding such an infuriating word. Do better.

You’re awesome. I have been watching you for years…I just turned 60 yet, I feel 45!!! Trying to get my 25 year old daughter to understand how to be appreciated by men she dates.

  • @jenw1279 says:

I met my fiance last year and he does every single one of these things. I never knew I could find love like this. I am so blessed to have him in my life ❤️

  • @chantellelouise4449 says:

My boyfriend hasn’t said that he loves me (which is okay!). BUT, he literally just comes out and says “I am head over heels for you, there’s no other way that I can describe it.” He tells me that all the time. And he’s always staring at me with the biggest smile on his face. Sometimes I feel like I’m being watched and I turn around and he’s staring right at me 😂🙏 He says my eyes are really pretty to look at. He says he can’t help the fact that he smiles all the time because I make him really happy.

    • @veskoavramovic6531 says:

I have been with a guy for almost 2 years, and he still hasn’t said he loves me.. when I ask him about it, he says he just isn’t such a type, he is not an overly romantic person.. I thought, that he just isn’t that into me, but then again he keeps coming back and he obviously likes to spend time with me, however I still don’t understand, what he wants out of this relationship.. why is it such a problem for him to say the L word??? We are both in our late 30’s, so we haven’t got time to waste really. But he spends all of his free time with me. On the other hand, I don’t get why he is affraid of saying “I love you”…what do you think? Would appreciate any help..

Same. Also just recently got involved with someone who I was very close to as a teenager. We were only ever friends. But now we are involved 27 years later. And he’s kind and respectful all the time, even at his worst. The very first time we were intimate together, we fell asleep before I could take the makeup off my face. I woke up looking like a mix between a raccoon and the joker. His first response to me was good morning beautiful. Totally melted my heart.

    • @mg5265 says:

      That is a blessing

  • @sharlafelton1992 says:

“The people that you care about, he cares about”… Absolute FACT!!!

  • @lauryb says:

I loved the fact that you shared HEALTHY signs of TRUE love. As you said, it’s not about ego.

  • @slj5055 says:

Thing that makes me love the guy I do: he is very kind and respectful to everyone. Works hard, honest, goofy sometimes, and thinks of the details.

  • @michellesmith5249 says:

Signs that I’ve fallen for him:
1.) I want to go to Lowe’s with him…or anywhere, anytime, every time.
2.) Being near him calms my spirit; I feel grounded.
3.) I love how he treats his mother.

    • @linamarie84 says:

Yeah so this video is about a man falling in love with a woman. So why are so many women always feeling the comments about what they feel? When I come to these types of videos I want to hear from a man’s perspective not a woman.

  • @memoemoe77 says:

How do I know I still love my hubby you ask? My husband works outside at a carwash & I pick him up everyday. While I wait I look over and see this good looking man. My heart starts pounding loudly in my ears & I can’t help but to smile. We have been together for 20 years , so imagine how I feel when my brain has to remind me that He Is my Husband.

  • @buttarain27 says:

I’ve never had a man be in love with me before, not even close, but I like to watch videos like these just to see what a man would do if he liked/loved someone.

  • @superfreakmusic7681 says:

You know you’ve fallen in love with someone when you start to care about their welfare and wellbeing, and even worry about whether theyre OK. You want to support them in their goals, dreams and hobbies and want them to do whatever makes them happy. The thought of not being with them is extremely painful, and you promise yourself that even if they annoy you, you will never point the finger, accuse or blame, but try and understand their point of view and still treat them with kindness and never do anything to hurt them.

    • @BF-bb5us says:

Definitely the supporting of dreams and hobbies, I think that’s important.

I am inlove with a younger man 9yrs younger .these examples re exactly what he does

    • @chioma5633 says:

I’ve felt this way about everyone I’ve dated, I guess some people love more easily

    • @MsNatiBug says:

Uh……. So……. What’s a friend then? You don’t feel this way….. towards friends? Or family? What about children?

    • @MsNatiBug says:

@@BF-bb5us yeah we’re supposed to feel these things for everyone we baseline care for, not reserve them for those with whom we’re in love.

  • @naowright9308 says:

I started painting and wanted to sell some. I had no idea what my husband would say as I believed some of his family members would not have approved. He thought it was a great idea, helped me set up at several craft shows, and even helped me sell some by telling the people he was building for about me!

  • @erinconnell7130 says:

Mat this was my late husband every single day for 15 wonderful years. Thank you for this video.

  • @zaria5785 says:

That story of your wife just brought tears to my eyes. Love how much you love her.

  • @beatyemitchell8992 says:

    1) you catch him checking you out in mundane moments
    2) the people you care about, he cares about
    3) hes respectful even when hes stressed out
    4) your wins become his wins
    5) he finds you beautiful even in your grungiest moments
    6) he finds your quirks adorable

  • @BaconBabe87 says:

My man does all of these. So to those who don’t believe this guy. Believe me, common ordinary woman. Men like this, do exist!
