  • I did for 21 yrs. I hid most of myself bc of him. My divorce was finalized a month ago. I have friend that became a very good friend bc he helped me with a harassing, psychotic neighbor a year ago. This lady came after my minor daughter & began stalking her & call her school to report not being there bc she was in therapy. He went out of his way to do everything possible to protect my family. The lady was evicted. He held me for an hour as I broke down and rocked me. I have never been treated so well. He never made a move or suggested that he liked me. He checks up on me regularly and would spend time talking to me. He stopped by my office and found me sitting at my desk, which is rare. He rubbed my shoulders and gave me a hug. He texted me asking how I was bc he was told I was stressed & he wanted to check on me. We texted for a while & a few weeks later I told him about my divorce. He has been such a great friend and has provided resources to get a protective order. He has taken me to lunch, a movie, and sends me funny videos. He finally asked if he could hold me and I kissed him. We have so much in common and really enjoy each others company. The best thing about him is that he stayed my friend when all the drama started back. He has been my rock. Plus, he bought a book on my reading list! He is older than me and it’s not an issue. I’d like to see where this goes. He has brought so much peace to my life and makes me laugh.

• I always pray like that, I feel peace all the time.
  The only problem was, he don't want to work, he had Social security income, but he can't provide for nothing and as soon as I ask him , to make the effort to help in the thing in the house, he prefers to leave.
  I don't pay house and my kids are already grown and I pay everything, everything. I don't understand? For all the peace I felt I couldn't be with a person who chose to go before try with a paper and a pen how to resolve money issues. After a year I feel I did my best , but used.

• I don’t think the rule that you love this person more than any previous persons you were in a relationship with. I say this because if you were broken back then but you’re healed now, the love you feel now will be different and incomparable with previous loves because of toxic bonds and dysfunctions.
