  • ​@Das Güs The decent thing to do when you have that philosophy is to let your partners know right from the start so that they know what to expect, so that they have a choice, to accept you as you are or move on.

    There is nothing more heartbreaking than betrayal, lies deceit, and go around pretending to be something (faithful, honest, trustworthy, etc.) that you are not and can't ever be.

  • It's all about expectations. I don't assume monogamy from any of my partners, thus I never feel cheated. I could never imagine a life with only one partner. That boggles my mind.

• We were married for 14 years of which he never bothered to lock his phone. Then suddenly after 12 years of marriage, he puts a PIN on his phone! I knew right away something was going on. I never in all the years we were married looked through his phone but just the thought that he didn’t trust me any longer meant so much. And I was right.

  • Not true. People will doubt themselves, especially if it's something they don't want to be true. It's natural. And then there are also the people who lie and end up believing their own lies. That's not natural, but it also happens.

  • i lied to myself all my life, ignoring red flags and deceitful behavior. learning to trust your intuition isn’t a given when raised by an abusive parent (and then marrying abuse).

  • One night my boyfriend went to get the casino then I have to find out later about it then he acted weird on me that night when I did see him and I had a feeling maybe he cheated. He turned it around and said you were in a bad mood. That's why I didn't wanna talk to you and that's not him and he's always volunteering about his past relationships and I have had a struggle being with him.
