Iβm a successful woman, and NEVR share with a man when I first meet them tell them what I do, how much I make, brag about my degrees etc. Eventually they find out (home I live in, car I drive, work I do, Iβm an ER Physician) and then they start to either be jealous or look at me as a sugar momma, π©

But in our society men in general have failed women so we had no choice but to become strong. Sorry men but you need to adapt along with us. Many of us were abandoned by the men in our lives and made the choice to build ourselves up and never get stuck like that again. But we still need men. We need their strength. @@debbiechadwick861 I think feminism is what ruined things, women are more productive, in control and don’t need men like they may have back in the early 1900’s. There are still “traditional” people in this world that want a traditional relationship.

Dating with your eyes open but allowing folks to reveal themselves is a big skill to learn. We are not taught to date or be in relationships because they require specific skills and a lot of flexibility from both parties. Too many selfish and self-unaware people out here!
Thanks much Stephan for pointing this out about having quality time for each other. I used to be in that relationship dynamic that my ex and I both worked. But because the relationship was not healthy, he was always tried with work and insecure and jealous every time I got promoted and talked me down. I would look that he had those patriarchy mindset. Never mind, I am at the better situation now and will pour into my man.
Work life balance is extremely important.
Men should always wait to date women if they are not where they want to be in life. For some reason these guys always want to date because they donβt want to be alone then they make the womanβs life miserable. They start to have attitudes all because they are jealous and insecure. Itβs like stopping looking to date. Be alone for a while and get yourself together.
Was talking to this guy. I told him I wanted to go to school for real estate. His whole mood change. Very very successful man not gonna lie. He asked if I wanted to be a stay at home mom. Im like nah I love my independence.
I told him to get lost because we kinda got into it. or I’ll get a restraining order. He told me I can’t “afford one.” Chuck the deuces real quick. βοΈ
A major problem is that even when a successful woman is willing to be in a relationship with a man that earns less income than herself, over time, the man begins to exhibit negative complex behaviour.

Once a man sees how I live, they say, ” I can’t afford you,” and my queation is that I’m not aware that I want to be bought. Confidence and being ok with who you are are key. Successful women need to be humble also as stated.
