As a Black American with a half-Mexican father, I’ve felt less racism in Mexico than I did in the US(Im also from TX btw). I think people were more or less confused/surprised by my combination of golden brown skin, curly hair and green eyes…so maybe ppl didnt really know how to categorize me🤔

I’ve been fortunate enough to spend large amounts of time living in a variety of countries all over the world and have friends in almost every country (need a few more…. gotta catch them all 😂).

I won’t say the states is the most racist country but it is definetly FAR from the least.

I am Mexican and my experience with my family is quite similar. When my sister or my sister in law gave birth to their children, my mom was happy because they were born white. If this happened on the contrary, my mom would have been disappointed or frustrated. This is my experience, of course not all Latinos are racist, but as in every country there are good and bad people.

Happy Friday, Marina ❤ Hope you’re having a great week. As a latino myself, I would say that not all latinos are racist but it all depends on the person. The black 🖤 dress looks great on you, you go girl 🔥
