Deep Truth Mr Stephan
Thank you 🙏
I also said," Do you have a problem with women in ministry? I have a ministry so I need to know."
🙏
@joyricherson4570 I don't see myself being able to marry someone who has a problem with that either, especially if they have a problem with me listening to them. It is not just about a chauvinistic attitude, either. I don't know if this has been your experience, and I can't 100% prove it, but I believe that not believing in female ministers can block the flow of supernatural blessings that God wants to bring into our lives, including material provision. Joyce Meyer has been an integral part of my life success. I keep a copy of her book, 100 Ways To Simplify Your Life, among my favorite books.
Right again cousin cuz! I asked my honey day one, conversation one, moment one,WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE FOR GETTING TO KNOW ME? He said I would like to see if we can lead into marriage.
🙏
That's an awesome question to ask! It would have never crossed my mind, thanks for sharing!
That is so funny cuz I remember this one time this guy approached me? When I told him I am a Christian he said Oh you mean like no sex before marriage? I said absolutely not! He was like okay well nice to meet you bye. I nearly died laughing at the store, but I appreciated it.
🙏
Great conversation nuggets that will save a lot of wasted time😍🙏🏽
Thank you 🙏
Asking about his views on marriage is still important to ask even if the one asking isn’t interested. It allows the other person to be informed about your position and make their own decision about continuing the relationship. If he’s marriage minded and I’m not, then he should know from the outset and we can wrap it up.
Well said 🙏
I love the way Stephan plays peek a boo with his audience, he gives little glimpses about his life and personality not too much, just enough to see what he says next 😂
😂🙏
Inquiring minds and eyes are watching. 🤣
A good question could be like... "Do you believe in living with a potiential mate before marraige? Also or, how long do you date before considering marraige?
Everyone can lie though. 🤷🏼♀️
@TawndaClark-ii9ps Those are absolutely good questions. The answer for me is no on the shacking up. Unless God changes my heart on it, I don't even want to be in a house alone together before marriage. After reading stories from women in these Stephan video comment sections, I see so many problems I can avoid by sticking to that boundary. It is not just sexual temptation. It is about avoiding laziness and complacency as well. When a man has to plan where there is public accountability, he has to make more effort and invest more in areas, not just financially, but in prayer, planning, and creativity, and I see this as a healthy thing. This also helps keep a woman from doing other wife things besides sex for a man too soon.
As far as how long to date for marriage, I lean toward one to two years unless God changes my heart on it. I feel like one year minimum, but two years max without questioning things. feel like going much past two years possibly indicates a spirit of fear, a lack of sharper discernment, unresolved questions, lack of decision, etc. I feel like if it has been two years, we need to crack down, get to the bottom of things, and make some more precise plans.
For those whom doesn't understand this...Providing emotionally in a relationship is just as important than just being a "provider". The emotions can still be there when there is no funds( say if man loses his job), which helps get couple get through those times due to the emotional bond. Nkt doing so to me is the equivalent of someone buying a family pet just to only feed it, but show no affection whatsoever.
Great analogy
One hundred percent.
