From my own personal experience I believe the church does not have sound doctrine on the ministry of deliverance and casting out devils. Jesus said it would be the first sign to identify a believer. Secondly, I believe in the multitude of counsel there is safety. The word calls Jesus the Prince of Peace and the Mighty counselor. Sometimes we need therapy to identify the strongholds mentally or we can allow God to reveal it through revelation. I do believe it is important but I also believe there is a difference between how the world handles mental health from the church. It is great though that there is a greater awareness of the need to be addressed regardless of the method.
Why do I sense awkwardness
