Understand for the last example she is talking about someone with a disfigurement while deformity is completely different. I myself have a facial (eye) deformity and I am not physically attractive. I have been upfront and honest about this when asked by women and at this point is where they get the ick and ghost me. One woman did give me feedback and said “ she couldn’t see herself marrying and having children with someone that had a genetic deformity. So there was no reason to continue on.” The dating app’s are my achilles heal as I am passed over almost every time due to my looks.

The data over the last 20 years from dating apps is clear – women on average rate men roughly 1.5-2 out of 5, with only 5% of men being rated a 5 out of 5, whereas men rate women in a PERFECT normal distribution from 1 to 5 with the majority of women being 3 out of 5 and an equal proportion being 1 or 5. The biggest bars in women’s ratings of men are either 1/5 or 2/5, accounting for around 60-75% of all men…
As a mere starting point, women will make facial expressions and give verbal cues of disgust and annoyance that you have even had the audacity to approach them in person. If they’re with a friend, forget it, because you’re being mocked and laughed at. If a girl is on her own she’s either got her earbuds in or staring down into her smartphone.

I mean, the data isn’t wrong. But remember that the data doesn’t take into account of confidence and social skills, and that variable can change other’s perception about you.
Data is just a reflection of what women felt in a particular moment, by looking at a set of pictures. It doesn’t mean those preferences are invariant with time and place.
