• I have been seeing this topic so much lately but the comments from men have been that older women are delusional to think younger men want anything serious with us older women. And it’s sad because I am turning 47 June 3rd, I don’t look my age, and I don’t “act” as they would expect. So I attract guys 30-35 somehow.
  I had a guy on this topic tell me how ridiculous I was because these guys are close to my children’s ages..even though he didn’t know me, he assumed. And also goes on to say, he’s trying to warn us “delusional women” from getting cheated on. That younger men just want to take advantage of older women in some way shape or form and do not see marriage or commitment.
  I don’t have a problem with dating a younger man. The issue I have ran into is those who still want children. My oldest is 26 ..youngest 16.

  • Funny thing is there are so many middle aged men still needing a mommy to feed and house them. How are we getting anything different from older men who are still out here cheating and womanizing? I think it’s delusional to think that age will guarantee anything different. I say have fun and if it leads to more, great! If not, at least a young man has the stamina to keep up 😉

• I've met someone 10.5 years younger than myself, but we have so much in common, same values, beliefs, have had similar experiences and we have a strong mental and spiritual connection and no we haven't slept together yet. It's very easy to talk with him and be myself. Never thought this would happen, had given up on dating but this is wonderful so I'm moving forward to see where it goes.

• I’m 68, he’s 41….and he’s perfect in every way for me. I was widowed, married to a wonderful man 9 years older than me…but I believe God brought this gentleman into my life for some very good reasons. I love the advice…and will have those discussions about the future…we’ve kind of talked about it but I want to make sure he knows what he could be getting into.

• There is a terrible stigma about a woman who dates younger men like people regarding her as if she is some kind of terrible person, almost like a pedophile, even though the man is an adult and even if HE is the one who INITIATED and PURSUED the relationship. Also a younger mans family, friends, and especially his mother can come down on the woman acting like she is some lecherous person preying on younger men only for sex… a typical unfair stereotype. The woman may regard the man as a soulmate not a sex target. And there are a lot of struggles that can come up such as the fact that the guys friends may not be able to relate to his older woman and he may be subject to many jokes and disrespectful attitudes from people in his life that may be important to him. no matter how much genuine LOVE is there, there are just too many struggles digestives that the couple is up against preventing them from growing together and enjoying life together. A hopeful reality is the example of President Immanuel Macron of France who is married to his prior teacher and she is 30 years older than him. He would never trade her for anyone else and they have been together for decades. They are a beautiful couple whose love has endured all of these stigmas and stereotypes and hurtful attitudes from others, and managed to continue to cherish each other all these years regardless of any barriers. They are intellectual soul mates and she is the only woman he has ever loved according to him. I love their love story and the fact that they let nothing and no one stand between them.
