• Many many years ago I had a couple dates with a Polish ship jumper here in Canada. He was so earnest and polite, but in hindsight i imagine he had marriage as a visa route in mind. Years after that a Polish man at a dance led me in the most amazing Viennese waltz, which I have never forgotten, but he also had very good manners. It's hard to tell from ones who have already left Poland as they have different views to start with.
