I asked Swedes on the streets of Stockholm and Gothenburg if they would rather date a Swede or a foreigner. Here is what they had to say.

So , basically the guys from Sweden 🇸🇪 aren’t outgoing until they get drunk and then finally they will approach and make a move 😂

    • @openbob6656 says:

well sweden has a winter that last for 5 months.. so no one is outside then. but in the 3 months of the summer time and warm weather everyone is out. i don’t know why this stereotype of swedish people not being outgoing comes from. and drinking only happens really on the weekends when people go out to party, and of course when you drunk you will have more liquid courage, women also become more approachable when they are drunk. usually they have a RBF, wear giant headphones that mean leave me alone, stare at the phone, and are not very communicative or approachable in general when sober so can’t blame men for everything.

    • @JJ-cb5gc says:

      So are the germans too:(

    • @Joe-eg7ml says:

Yes they are. I try to hook up my swedish friend with girls but seem to reserve and always decline

    • @V88333 says:

I can confirm that it’s true lol. This is why a lot of white swedish women prefer dating someone with a foreign background. A lot of swedish women actually go for first generation swedes.

    • @Antti-ox1ho says:

Same here in Finland.😂 Hälsningar från Finland! Greetings from Finland! Terveisiä Suomesta!

  • @jasper8291 says:

As a Dutchman I really felt the “absolutely NOT” 😂😂

  • @tobiojo6469 says:

This video is so awesome and funny

  • @FurryCruz says:

I have never been with a Swedish woman, I don’t feel they are interested, like the 2 blond women that says Swedish men are boring, they are kind of proving why I as a Swedish man never had a relationship with a Swedish woman.

  • @rhalfcorrea2684 says:

Fantastic video as always, always bringing a good topic😎👏🏻 greetings From Brasil😁🇧🇷

  • @cautilligab says:

thank you for coming to Göteborg!!!!!! love all your videos. The video showed what we expected but at the same time we foreigners here in Sweden after we wake up from the shock of seeing the ultra beautiful swedes just realize that we are not that compatible with them for real long term relationship and the numbers show it. Im from Italy and we are famous for hitting everything with a pulse but we try to stay away from Scandinavians because of how cold they are and their family values are just different. once again they are great great people but compatibility is not there.

    • @Joe-eg7ml says:

Cause Swedes hate drama and I’m sure Italians aren’t drama free.

    • @Lafemmefutile says:

@@Joe-eg7mlSometimes what is called drama is being honest and brave with your emotions and thoughts. People who need to drink to get courage to approach – pretty weak and potentially dangerous.

    • @Joe-eg7ml says:

@@Lafemmefutile you can be honest and brave with thoughts without the volume and hand gestures flying around. They are a monotone people and really don’t do well with cultures full of emotion.

    • @slavianalbanovich9025 says:

      speak for yourself, don’t generalize

    • @danskdreng1993 says:

Here in Denmark (but I guess in Sweden and Norway it’s the same) Italians are not very successful with women. What strongly penalizes them is their short stature, their low income (compared to ours), facial features that remind us of poor countries and the fact that there is the idea that Italian males are very hierarchical with their women and want to command them.

  • @da-rude says:

If you live in Sweden you will clearly see there is a big preference for dating Swedish, not foreigners. People largely prefer boring than meeting anyone new and different.

    • @legendofthefall7082 says:

      Damn that’s kinda sad

    • @mnraiders8546 says:

Its like that in Minnesota where there’s a lot of Scandinavian influences

    • @Ghostrider-ul7xn says:

Also notice the pattern that most men were open to dating outside than women here. Men are more open to seeking a different experience, while women want to play it safe.

    • @swepower3597 says:

You attract what you are with that mindset. Why would you date anyone boring at all? Dating is supposed to be fun! Have only gone out with fun women, Swedish or from other countries 🙂

    • @spaniardsrmoors6817 says:

Think so?…watch this it’s in English…”Le SVEDESI sposerebbero un ITALIANO ?”

  • @mateconfacturas says:

    love from Argentina 🇦🇷💙

  • @lissandrafreljord7913 says:

Swedes seem to prefer to date with their own kind more than Norwegians compared to last video. I find this kind of refreshing hearing this from a Nordic country, where everything is about political correctness and equality.

  • @DatingBeyondBorders says:

Hey everyone! I have also filmed two big videos on Swedish culture: one on making friends and the other on dating so this one just scratches the surface as I go deep into their culture in the other ones. Stay tuned! 😊

  • @Ian_777 says:

My friend would always tell me, “You should date a Swedish or Finnish girl.”
I always say, “ If the opportunity is there then yeah, why not?”

    • @slavianalbanovich9025 says:

Because in reality you have no opportunity
(of course that “you” is impersonal and indicates that Scandinavian women are reluctant to date people they don’t know)

    • @quartermaster1976 says:

Those countries barely have any people

  • @aquariusmoon3901 says:

    Sheesh they’re all so beautiful!!

  • @philliphoffmann2190 says:

I kind of have the feeling that some only said that they would date a foreigner because there was a camera and they felt “morally” obliged. According to “Demografiska rapporter: Kärlek över gränserna” a report released by Statistics Sweden in 2015 – roughly one in four single persons are in a relationship within five years after immigration- p.82.

    • @channelin says:

This is very accurate. I went to Stockholm in 2020 and I’m Mediterranean. I approach beautiful women I’m attracted to, and believe me, they showed me no love. Despite the charming personality and very handsome face

    • @Solothefuture1 says:

Yeah I’m kinda getting that too. I guess as would be the case for anybody, almost anywhere. Folks don’t want to come off or be perceived a certain way, especially in front of cameras.

    • @originalmix2546 says:

      @@channelin and much modesty, obviously..😁🤦

    • @marvin2678 says:

      @@originalmix2546 fax hahah cringe asf

    • @carolin9876 says:

@@channelin Mediterranean men have a reputation of being extremely charming, full of themselves and being more interested in “sampling” the local menu rather than taking them seriously as dating prospects and your comment proves that this stereotype fits you to a T. Those Swedes could smell this from a mile away and this is why they avoided you.

  • @irinka_katlova says:

The two girls in the beginning seem like really fun to hangout with 🤣🤣🤣. I laughed a little bit too hard.

  • @leonardmuaklek3312 says:

Wow! Swedish people can really speak English. They have a clear accent.

    • @hakanstorsater5090 says:

Not sure on if that should be interpreted as “the accent is clear and easy to understand” or “they clearly have an accent”. In fairness, I guess both could be correct…

  • @chat-arina says:

Swedes who plan to live in Sweden often don’t want to bring someone who can’t speak Swedish to meet their friends and family. Since a lot of us don’t truly feel comfortable speaking only in English. Remember it’s not just for a week or a month but a whole life where your friends and family will feel like they have to accommodate for the English speaker. It’s not something many seem to consider.

  • @gameon2000 says:

We asked 2 typical swedes about their ethnical dating preferences. Both Abdul and Dickembe said, they wouldn’t date foreigners.

  • @hakanstorsater5090 says:

“Viking Line” on the end is a famous ferry line going between Finland and Sweden. Except for regular travelling, they’re infamous for their nighttime party trips where there’s a lot of tax-free alcohol involved, with all foreseeable consequences… (She pronounces Viking the Swedish way, although her accent sounds Eastern European otherwise, for some reason. I guess it should be pronounced more English, as the name is English, but oh well…)

  • @adrianstere says:

1:58 The blond girl she is so funny the way she keep saying “nooo!” 😂😂

  • @rainibojen-kf2pm says:

I have been to Sweden 2 years ago and must say I have never seen such tall and extremely handsome men anywhere else in the world.
