Jesus is a Sun God metaphor. If you take “Jesus” and replace it with “the Sun,” it actually makes sense. For example, the Sun walks on water. The Sun turns water into wine, as grapes need water and the Sun to grow. The Sun is our risen savior; the Sun comes in the clouds. The Sun is the light of the world.

Jesus (Isa) is highly regarded in Islam, but they have the same view as some of the pre-Nicaea Christians and Gnostics that he wasn’t the Son of God, but a great prophet.
