  • @stormthrush37 says:

The basic lesson here applies to so many things, from gender roles in society to dating to cultural and societal pressures and norms to act in certain ways. So many things aren’t objectively right or wrong versus merely how everyone else is doing it and how others expect us to act, think, dress, look, and feel.

We will all adjust and grow and be fine as a species. Women dont have to shrink, and men dont have to stop being confident.

Nobody should rule a relationship, the “ruling” of it should be equal

    • @99timewaster says:

The very fact that she uses the word “rule” in a relationship is very telling imo. A relationship shouldn’t be something to rule over. -_-

    • @judna1 says:

@@99timewaster Exactly: communcation, concent, respect and equality, that’s the key

    • @wagner9527 says:

The man should be in the masculine role and lead the relantionship, it’s in our nature and how it works for most people, of couse, each one is free to do what they want

    • @judna1 says:

@@wagner9527 What? For starters, the gender goes out of the window this days: cis man, cis woman, trans man, trans woman, non-binary, gender-fluid … doesn’t matter, Oh! And that without talking about the orientation: heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, queer, asexual… The list goes on and on. That if you are assuming that it’s just a couple, it can be three people in a relationship, an open relationship, etc.
Having said that, and going back to the “traditional” genders and the “traditional” couples, for years women have allowed men to be the head of the family, to be the strong one, but they have always been the neck, and they have turned the head wherever they wanted. Men were the musle, women were the brain.
Women fought for the right to vote and they didn’t stop until they got it. Women fought for the right to work, to be able to have the same jobs and still fighting for the same salaries as men. The majority of inhabitants in this world are women with a longer life expectancy, which gives us power. However, do you wanna know what we are using it for? Not for to be on top, to rule the world, to rule a relationship, we use it to fight for equality, that’s what we wanted, we want and we’ll always want. So once again, nobody should rule in a relationship, those are based on: equality, respect, communication, concent…
      Best regards from Barcelona!

@@judna1 For Woke people who have lived in their bubbles for too long: There’s something in biology known as Testosterone and Strogeny and they determine most of men and women behavior since pre-history, this is not a matter of opinion, men have higher levels of testosterone which predicts some characteristics such as assertiveness. People can do as they please but you cannot escape your evolutionary roots just because your ideology says so, that’s why frequently women are not happy with men in these countries, because of the mass pussyfication of men in modern society. Norwegian women have throughout history lived with men who were fishermen and sailors. They were not at home for months at the time, sometimes they even were away for years. How should they rule their wives while on the other side of the ocean? Norwegian women have therefore always been independent and capable of taking care of ourselves.

  • @Onnarashi says:

As a Norwegian man, I’m so glad we’re not like Russians. There domestic violence is legalised, Russian women are fleeing from their own men and moving to western Europe, and many of them are selling their bodies. Very sad. It doesn’t seem very “traditional” to me.

I find it interesting that women think they are owed to be approached or owed free dinners and coffee. If you want a coffee date, you can go ahead and ask. Nobody is stopping you. Women like her claim they want to be equal yet make special demands of men. You can’t have both equality and special treatment.

    • @Commentator488 says:

I always say, there is a reason why everyone wants to live in countries that are considered feminist.

You won’t get an expensive and exclusive dinner, but you will get the best women’s rights, the smallest pay gap between men and women, the longest maternity leave and your partner’s paternity leave. Between the dinner and this listed, I think it isn’t difficult to guess what I would choose.

    • @hirsch4155 says:

Exactly , and people from other countries say that parts of Western Europe are too feminized in terms of gender roles yet that’s sometimes the exact thing they live to move there for, the societies are more calm, better designed for life balance , more social safety net.
