This work , really listening with genuine interest and attention, asking good questions, she mentioned her sister stop her and ask if she is younger or older or what the relationship is like ?
When she has told her story , tell her a similar story about yourself or a friend, that was similar, what they did , or went wrong,
Also anticipating where the story is going, or deduction, figure out what she hasn’t said or the real issue, ( and communicate it sensitivity to her) but that’s takes practice,
The trick is to try talking to every woman like that make it second nature, practice , practice practice
“Steer her monologue into a dialog.” I’ve never heard this before. Looking back, I recall “conversations” in which I was more of a “sounding board” for the woman to vent. To “add myself” to the communication seems rude, especially if her venting is therapy for her, and I don’t want to participate in the emotional pollution she is spilling.

Great advice! There’s another lovely lady that I listen to that says it’s not about the things, it’s about the experiences, that captivate women. Guys tend to focus on talking about things. The first time I tried this, it made a big impact. I found out she was married though 🙁 Hopefully I’ll run into a great lady one day.
