Love the Isabella story and that was so adorable. In my head my immediate reaction is thinking how people in my Asian culture would react. I think the parents would smack the kid’s hands and be like “no manners! Can’t run around asking people for food!”. My therapist always thinks I don’t take care or voice my own needs or ask for what I need because I grew up in such environment. Conscious effort now can hopefully improve that!

This is excellent advice! You put out great content that’s always very practical and useful.

  • @elizabethwilliams3375 says:

I’ll let my man go he does all the right things that you talk about. He can’t let his exes go. It feels like he always has to have women around him to make him feel important. I don’t know, if that’s abandonment issues 3 1/2 years on and off. I thought I was wasting more of my time with the wrong man?

    • @discombobulousable says:

This is why I could never hook up with a man who still needs ex contacts around him for whatever reason but mostly it points to his unresolved childhood trauma /issues in order to fill that void. A tough one, I’m sorry!

  • @elizabethwilliams3375 says:

Thank you, Matt that I could ask anything, if my man Really loves me, he will do his very best within limits give me what my heart, desires, and vice versa

  • @secretshaman189 says:

I had an art teacher who used to teach us to always “ask for what you want”. He said he was too shy at a Thanksgiving dinner to ask for what he wanted, so he got the turkey neck.

  • @elishabracho6538 says:

I recently told my husband that I want to start cooking together. He always stayed out of the kitchen because he thought I didn’t want him in there. Now we cook together and put music on sometimes and dance. I used to not tell him what I want and I would expect him to read my mind. Now that I tell him exactly what I want, he’s more than happy to make it happen and we have grown so much closer.
