Tripp, for clarification, did you only do a boost for Tinder or all 3 apps?
I only boosted Tinder since it was doing so poorly for me. It worked and got me more likes, but not from anyone I would be interested in. I never did a boost anywhere else. I also used all my roses up and whatever little perks the apps gave me in my first 2 days. Which is funny, because even those didn’t help with a bad profile.
The updated prompts sound like bate for high-maintenance women. Specificity is good. But don’t give her wine and dine vibes off the bat.
Hmm maybe. But I’m not telling anyone to use those prompts. Everyone should use their own, with their own vibe, and be specific. And guys, paint a picture.
@TrippAdvice that’s fair. But it does skew the experiment slightly. As an objectively average-looking guy; the “South of France jet-setter” lingo makes you a target for women who would otherwise not match you at all. I would’ve optimized the prompts for the average guy to make it more relatable. But I think the professional photo advice is somewhat universally agreed upon these days. If you see my YouTube presentation, then you already know I agree
I hear you. However I was trying to do the best prompts as well. The second profile was a full upgrade. And any average guy can use some that lingo. Although I only really used “exotic” which could be anywhere with sun and a beach.
Setting up an in person dates isn’t a success. They can still ghost you at any point up until the day and time.
