Yes, hurt people hurt people but be careful to not forget that abusive people abuse others. There is a difference between wounded people lashing out and sadistic people who deliberately harm others. As a victim of abuse this always triggers me, it was deliberate, cruel, unnecessary and straight up designed to destroy me NOT an accidental injury
