I❤ this
This episode really caused me to do some deep introspection. I am a runner. When conflict arises, if I can get an out, I will take it and run as fast as I can. It never works. Last year, I gained clarity about myself more than others, because I needed to know me. I discovered that I had serious trust issues, most of them were rooted in my inability to trust my own decisions. I could not trust God nor anyone else. Doing the work in silence, I stopped running, and started looking at what I was feeling in the moment. My feelings no longer dictate how I react, instead, I am compelled to respond. My first decision was to believe God and to trust Him, allowing no other option. I can see the difference. After that decision, I make better choices. I still have my running shoes. Someday, I will use them the right way. 🙏🏾💜

Powerful insight. Must watch the whole episode.
A couple that handles conflict well is emotionally mature, empathetic, and committed to the success of their relationship. Their ability to navigate disagreements builds trust, intimacy, and resilience, making them stronger together. They understand that it’s not about If conflict arises but how they handle it that defines the quality of their partnership. ⚓️
