• I dated down because I thought he was cute, he said he wanted to better him self. Well he was very insecure, end up abusing the hell out of me … I’m thankful I’m alive. NEVER DATE DOWN!!

  • @Bb-k4gd  I've tried but I literally feel trapped. I've tried reaching out to DV hotlines, tried getting OFP because the abuse was scary. He said today actually that he would kill me and my therapist if they try to get involved and persuade me to leave. I've asked him to leave my house that I paid for and it's in my name. He will not leave. I even offered to give him money to leave but that's not a motivation for him to go... it's bad. I feel stuck. His anger is out of control and he blames me for being the angry one bc I brought up an issue that happened yesterday to confront him about it when we are both calm and oh boy did that open a can of worms. He said that I'd miss him if he was gone and im thinking please lord leave. I'm so over him but he does not understand what breaking up means.

  • Some arranged marriages were cultural. Not speaking of societies where women were chattel.
    When done by match makers or parents in agreement, it was of mutual class, race...
    The woman being provided for and being a helpmate was accepted for societal reason.
    Nowadays too many women are doing ok on their own financially and dating guys to "fix up and or control" because innately they know he needs, not loves them. Often they play this game overlooking both of their duplicity.

• If you date down ... Dating someone whom you hope will grow to love you compared to dating someone who is already showing love...
  I disagree ....I don't have time to experiment on a guy who isn't showing me admiration and love sooner than later ... No...! time is ticking!
