So true. The people who criticize you are rarely on your level.
You are just like King David, Laterras. Eliab can represent any person that has spoken against you in anger and your assignment. God ordained David to destroy Goliath even though all he was trying to do was obey God and take his brothers lunch. You have been encouraging the crowd in love and relationships and some have thrown stones out of anger. His brother tried to belittle his assignment and question his motives for why he was doing what he was doing. However, David asked a question. Is there not a cause?
You have never forgotten your โwhyโ which is why David was chosen as a King and so are you. God established King Davidโs throne forever. He is going to do the same for you because you are an overcomer. ๐๐ฝ๐โ๏ธ๐
28 And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
29 And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?
Amen
