  • Its not really when youtube isnt hiding this...the problem is the people that make these videos thibk its censorship...its not. Its in the fine print that none of them read when they signed their contracts/made their channels....this is ignorance on the user side

  • Censorship as always been the biggest threat it's just now that the internet is huge it's really easy to censor. Companies can do whatever they want to their property so the fault really lies in the fact that people are relying on all these private websites and are giving them that power to censor.

• YouTube being a monopoly on video content is the worst thing to happen to the internet

  • I'm from Indonesia, a country struggling from a very severe corruption done by the government. We know they do this, they know we know.

    they made a law that says, if we ever criticize them or mock them, we'd be put in jail. that's how crazy it is. This country has so much potential, the nature's great, and also the people. a lot of us go to foreign countries to get better education or job opportunities, honestly we could've had it at home, but those things can't be done because we don't the money for it

    What they can't do is stop others from providing similar services, like Vimeo and some other websites. They can't legally live without competitors no matter how shitty said competition might be.
