Rejection is not such a big deal. It deals more with us than with the other. But it is correct to give yourself that chance and try. If it does not work, ***k it! There will always be another opportunity.

Put my heart on the line a couple of days ago and was rejected. But at least now I know, I can move on, and it turns out he is actually not as understanding and compassionate as I thought he was. The conversation that followed me sharing my feelings showed his true colours, because he said some really hurtful things. I can put to rest something I had been wondering about for years, and move on.
