@Stephan Speaks : I love what you’re saying. I will never settle. I’m pretty much self sufficient, so I do not have to. This wasn’t always the case; and yet I never did it then. Instead, love was blind- which is also not a positive basis for a successful, stable, happy relationship. I learned (late in life) that I must be happy with myself before the right man that God Has meant for me will ever find me. I do believe- at age 62- that he has finally found me- and this was because I was fully ready for him. I’ve also read your book “the man that God Has For You”, and realized that I’ve been doing the prep work for this to happen for at least ten years now; making room for him to enter my life.

@@MeetStephanSpeaks What happens if both partners settle for each other, get married, have a child, find themselves miserable to the point it’s causing them health issues, and realize after 13 yrs of marriage that they can’t sustain this forever. The pain and facade of this safe choice/marriage is crushing one or both of them. What do you do with the guilt of your own decisions, if you decide to divorce? Will the children be adversely impacted?

I’m glad you described what “settling” is in this video. I’m with a man who I have a true connection with and he has great character and I’m attracted to him; however, he doesn’t make alot of money. To me that is not a major issue to deter me. You can always get a job or use your skills and talents to make money, but if you have poor character nothing can fix that. This man is golden in my eyes.❤

You are such a blessing. I was settling bc I’m about to turn 32 but I know God wants better for me
I did settle for a man who had no ambition, no money, no need for growth and limited intelligence. I was trying to convince myself not to be ” too demanding”, because I though “he seems to truly love me and that’s the most important thing.” It ended with me just feeling annoyed, sad and angry. I could not truly respect and admire him. Did not have patience to tolerate his personality in a long run. We broke up a year ago. Huge relief. Never settling again.
