Typical cold country warm country mentalities.
Happy Sunday, Marina! Great question and great answer and I hope to visit both Greece ๐ฌ๐ท and Germany ๐ฉ๐ช one day
Nudity is a big thing in Greece??
Man, all I see is naked statues everywhere in the country.๐๐
those remnant of ancient(pagan) greece, modern day greeks are orthodox christian like medieval romans(byzantines)
Modern Greece and ancient Greece are not the same thing, simple.
@@fidemporas Hey, stop spreading idiotic propaganda. Ancient and modern Greece have been scientifically proven and confirmed to have genetic and cultural continuities from the ancient past to the modern present. Go and look at these proven scientific conclusions if you can even understand them.
@@e.v3832 Well, all of Europe was pagan and/or practiced polytheism before Christianity became the dominant religion of the continent and Europeans became monotheistic. It wasn't just the Greeks, it was all of the Europeans
@@galleya-tx3jy yes ,but western europe did reform and Renaissance, while greece is not since they were belong more strict sect of christianity which is greek orthodoxy
He made a great analysis
In Greece we are fat phobic we dont like obese people in few clothes while in Germany it's common
It's not phobic, it's disgusting
Then the US will be your version of Hades ๐
I'm Portuguese and I identify 200% with his perspective. It's been a struggle for me avoiding being kind, friendly and warm, as in Germany certain acts of kindness and politeness are rude.
It's actually sad because that's one of the aspects I love the most about all our cultures in southern Europe and I'm trying to repress them constantly.
Maybe I need more southern European friends. โค
Thats why I moved back.Less money but more happiness.
@@bojanstoicevic5374 I could be absolutely happy at any Southern European country with basically no cultural difference, but Berlin..... Wow, Berlin is the toughest and most hostile place I've ever lived in my whole life.
I'm definitely considering going back. Or have an online job that allows me to spend long periods of time down south.
You could do the german approach in the beginning and tell them directly that some things you do/say are received differently in Portugal and that they shouldn't be mad or weirded out by this. Or when these things happem. And afterwards you could live out your portuguese way more or less. At least with your german friends you have to make them understand. And yes Berlin haha even in the rest of germany their salty personality is known, but they don't mean it that way.Apparently. I also have a hard time recognizing if they are mad at me or just vibing ๐ Boa sorte
Wow. I'm German and i hear about this for the first time. ๐ I can tell you that I've never felt repressed because of somebody's southern or Latino behaviour. I'm actually shocked about who would tell you something like that๐ฎ
It's true that this warm touchy behaviour is not our thing, but that doesn't mean that i dislike it when others do it.
As a latino I gotta say that I have to force myself and try to be cold, but I just can't. It's such a big part of us to be warm, show you some hospitality and feed you to death, so I totally understand this bro
As a Greek no nudity is not a big issue ๐
Exactly lol
Maybe in some rural places and with old people, but no one else cares
On the street?
Are you naked at the beach around kids? Because some Germans are ๐ They don't care. For them it is just a human body.
I donโt know Antoine who I know from Greece who has been to Germany or lived here for a bit said itโs different in Greece than here. I also didnโt see any nude people on the beach or in the sauna like I do in Germany. Maybe younger people donโt think like that or idk
The way he's moving his hands while talking, I have never seen a German doing that
๐you can't since it's common only in mediterranean countries
@@e.v3832 โค to our countries
Yeah,we do it a lot here in Greece
When you have words don't need hands to communicate
โ@@e.v3832because in the same country there are people who speak different languages and dialect
We know instantly of the bat why he really chose to live in Germany ๐
I thought Europeans don't care much about nudity in general
..
Depends if are nice boobs or not
