  • You’re mistaking looksmaxxing in practice vs looksmaxxing in theory. Looksmaxxing in practice has become an almost political philosophy, in so far as the unwavering belief that looks are the only thing that matters in life/dating. This has led to extremist views and dangerous practices where men have become completely obsessed with their appearance. I don’t see it any differently from feminism, communism, and any of the other failed movements from the past. Noble intentions with disastrous consequences. Taking care of your appearance is completely different from looksmaxxing.
