you don't have to eat that much chicken, that would be too damn expensive, and you're gonna resent that taste real fast. So, this is where you start introducing protein shakes to your diet. I wanna add to protein shakes... If you drink those with milk, let's take 2.5% fat milk as an example, 300ml of that milk alone is 320cal + you throwing couple scoops of whey in it, that would be ~110cal.. That shake would be ~450cal.. have that in mind; maybe you wanna replace milk with water or like sugar-free almond milk.
To Jon: Hormozi never said he can eat after hitting his protein window, he said, he could "come up to a meeting eating ice cream like a scumbag"...
Ice Cream is = fats + carbs. So it makes sense. No more than two ~110g ice cream cones though. Considering 50g fat window, and 20g from chicken is already in... you can eat 30g more, and that would be two ice cream cones... yeah.
22g prot = 88 cal (prot * 4)
20g fat = 180 cal (fat * 9)
--
33g carbs = 132 cal (carbs *4)
2g fiber = 4 cal (fiber * 2); many brands don't even bother counting that as carb calories on their labels. No consensus on Dietary Fiber.
--- 136 cal actually, not 132 -> Total: 404 cal, not 400.
and the most important to note, *these are all averages*
Protip: Do not focus on calories, focus on macros instead. For example: how many more grams of fat you can eat before hitting your 50g/day limit. Once you close at least one of them windows (protein, carbs, fats) - you stop eating. +/-5g leeway is fine
Calorie counting is not a sustainable strategy for long-term weight loss. It's more effective to focus on the quality of the food you're eating rather than just the quantity. Nutrient-dense, whole foods support metabolic health and hormonal balance, keeping you full longer, which helps maintain a healthy weight without obsessively tracking calories. A carnivore or whole-food keto diet is the best option for ensuring you're in your optimum weight state, providing essential nutrients and promoting overall wellness.
Wrong. It's ALWAYS quantity, always.
Honestly if you completely eliminate excess carbs from your diet you will lose body fat. I’ve seen some of the best results from carnivore and strict keto diets compared to the calorie counting method. Especially when you throw intermittent fasting in the mix.
