• When there is that balance in a relationship...in my case, marriage, it's an amazing relationship, seemingly effortless in that regard. If that balance is not there (I have lived that in past relationships, too.), the imbalance has caused me to feel unsupported, unsafe, not protected and an overall uneasy feeling. But I am learning that masculine men who are confident and grounded in their masculinity make me feel safe and protected.
