I asked Norwegians what Norwegian stereotype is the most true in their opinion and which is not so true, and here is what they had to say.

Norway. Beautiful country, stunning women but interaction like talking to ChatGPT

My fav Marina and Norwegian people are all in the same videos. Life is good! ๐ Thank you!
Yuck
It's sad they have to get drunk to even open up and/or talk to a person. Resided in Sweden and they seem like this. Just going on a morning stroll and saying hi to a person you see every morning going for a walk is out of the ordinary.
Yeah itโs a bit weird and seems rather unhealthy.
@@Seanonyoutube well there are some outliers. My wife is from Sweden and she has a very outgoing personality and doesn't need alcohol to talk to people.
I mean, even in more social societies it still helps. Obviously the Northern Europeans take it to the extreme. As someone who comes from the US, there is definitely a capability to socialize without alcohol, but the downside is that much of that talking is just small talk for the sake of making noise. Like it's interesting (and unhealthy in its own way) seeing how horribly uncomfortable people can get here if everyone just sits there in silence, yet people in a country like Finland will just huddle around a fire to drink and merely enjoy each other's physical company / presence.
โ@@Joe-eg7mlyou know that it is just a stereotype right? Scandinavians live normal life with normal friends just like everyone else.
@@ae-jo5gc I have resided and married a Scandivian. And during my time in Sweden there is some truth to this sterotype of course there are outliers such as my wife . But pretty much everyone keeps to themselves. They don't like small talk. And only time a Norewegian guy was friendly and really talkative was when he was drunk....lol!
I am impressed of their English level!!! Bravo!
The guy who identifies as tall is ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Didn't you hear him speak about meeting new people? You're gonna need some Preparation H to go along with that tight sphincter.

Japanese: disciplined kid
Norwegian: alcohol addicted introverted teen
Not at all. Norwegians drink very little alcohol - only 50% of the EU average. We also drink weak beer and spirit with a low alcohol content
@@Shirumoon Scandinavians (at least Swedes and Norwegians) tend to drink mostly during the weekends. When we actually do drink we do it properly (get wasted) which makes it easier for everyone to socialize. I think thatโs why theyโre mentioning alcohol so much. Itโs basically the easiest and most common way to meet new people here. Although this is almost exclusively during the weekends or the holidays, regular weekdays we barely drink and if we do itโs mostly light stuff which might be the answer to why we statistically drink less than in other cultures where itโs normal to have one glass every day.
@@Shirumoontheyโre lying and being manipulative because they want it to seem like they are perfect and dont like it when anyone makes fun of the perfect narcissistic image of themselves they die to keep.
In reality they say โcatch him in the 5th beer to have seggsโ so imagine several of the โweakโ beers will turn strong on the 6th and he will blackout so no seggs
This is fantastic. Your bubbly personally was the perfect way for me to end my evening on a happy note ๐
Happy to hear ๐
I work 30 meters from that ATM. Cheapest 0,5l beer in that street ๐
