  • Why any American ( apart from family) would want to move back to the states baffles me.

  • Shout outs to everyone here, as a Korean-America who lives in Poland, I do not plan on coming back to the states anytime soon, but, but....I would like some in N out and Mexican street tacos..that is all

  • You should interview people who have traveled to Europe, who live in America and talk about how they don’t like how things are done in Europe

  • Its crazy how people barely walk in the US. Im 30 years old and never had a car even though I have a drivers license. In all places where I lived I always lived somewhere central and do everything walking, cycling or by public transport

    • Yep same here. I just moved to upstate NY lived in nyc for 30 years (I'm also 30 by the way lol) and yes I also have a license but don't own a car either yes it's faster to get where you gotta go but I personally don't own or want rn I also work and stay somewhere central convenient for me as having a car I saw how insurance truly works and I can't do that it's one thing to have a car accident but to have to deal with the case crap is another like accidents happen I get it it's part of life but my thing is okay accident is over let's move on 😑

  • This video is super interesting and mindblowing. Thank you so much for your good content!

  • People always seem to forget that the "American lifestyle" of driving everywhere is not only found in America. Canadians drive as much as Americans and they have the same big trucks as well. I highly doubt people are going to walk anywhere outside of Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. The same goes for tipping in Canada. You tip per beer unless your at a table or you create a bill with the bartender. Canada is just like America in everywhere except that it has much higher taxes.

Can we please stop with this false narrative that Americans will tell you their life story. Sure we will say hello when near someone on a line or in an elevator, but we are not going to open up. Europeans fail to understand the difference between being friendly and being friends. Friendly means not being rude when around someone. Not saying a quick hello to someone when you see them shows a lack of education. Completely ignoring someone who is standing right next to you in a small space like an elevator is beyond rude. Friendship in the US takes longer than most people believe. Too many travel videos have given out so much incorrect info about America. Once foreigner learn the difference between friendly and friends, they will understand

As for the Americans in the video. Some seem like the rest of society owes them something.

  • I live in northern California...I would LOVE to walk . It is NOT safe here so my kids and I can't walk or ride bikes. Most of the year we are on fire too. Its not a choice its safety:(

  • Great video! I am American and just spent two glorious months in beautiful New Zealand. Many friends here said the mood in the U.S. has hit rock bottom and that famous optimism is in very short supply. They suggested I stay in NZ as long as I possibly could. I've had a hard time being back here for only two weeks and all news from the White House is so negative and ridiculous. Thank you for making a balanced video that shows we do many things wrong here, but it's not all bad. A tiny ray of hope for the future!
