• How can you get to know someone first before dating them unless you're around them everyday? Yes by all means pick from what's in your backyard but it's not always feasible to have that connection through work, family, or friends to meet new people & vet BEFORE going out.

• 1. Girls don't go out to know the guy unless they know the guy. It sounds like a catch-22 situation.

    1) Sure, it works if it's a friend of your friend's friend and you spend time in the same group. But what about if you see someone at the street/bar/beach/bus?
    Dating is literally for knowing each other better.
    2) Nice try, but you shot yourself in the foot. You either wear makeup or don't.
    If you do, then it's not for the date, so stop saying a coffee dates not worth your time, because you spend all your precious time on makeup without even a date. So when someone is ask you out, you don't spend MORE time on makeup, because you wear makeup, regardless the date.
    If you don't, then someone already saw you without it and ask you out, so why would you do a full makeup?

    PS.: Do you realize that your makeup-rant doesn't answer my question#2 in any way?
