Don’t they have a high rate of chlamydia because of this??

  • @zaranski2009 says:

I wonder why Sweden is one of the happiest countries lmao

    • @etaaramin9361 says:

Because it isn’t. You shouldn’t read headline data and walk away feeling like you got the real information.

In Sweden it is VERY frowned upon to say you are unhappy, *especially* to a stranger. This person doesn’t know you and Swedes aren’t that open about their feelings to begin with. Ask a Swede on the verge of suicide how they’re doing and you’ll ve told they’ve never been happier!

Sweden has one of the *highest* rates of depression. They certainly SAY they are happy in studies to random strangers, but in actual indicators of happiness like depression and suicide rates, they’re actually doing very poorly and getting much worse.

    • @yasashii89 says:

      Sweden is a miserable country.

    • @DaDaDo661 says:

It also has the highest number of rapes in Europe

    • @mirieshii1948 says:

based on criteria like wealth, education etc. it has nothing to do with social norms and people’s disposition.

    • @SRBOMBONICA86 says:

ITS NOT ,they are the most depressed people

  • @_MC529 says:

    Sounds horrible ngl

    • @bongimusprime7981 says:

      lol someone’s not getting any

    • @_MC529 says:

      @@bongimusprime7981 If I “wouldn’t get any” I’d want to go there, wouldn’t I?
How much can one contradict himself with one single sentence? Congrats.

    • @andrearoth1428 says:

      I agree….the uncertainty is frustrating 😮‍💨🙁

    • @V88333 says:

As a swede, I agree with you. It’s difficult if you’re looking for a serious relationship and I personally don’t want to sleep with strangers. I prefer getting to know people first but everyone on dating apps want sex. Swedes are very introverted so finding dates on apps is the only way. It’s easier in other countries.

    • @_MC529 says:

@@V88333 Damn, I feel bad for you.
It’s not much better in Germany, but at least dating apps aren’t omnipresent for everyone (yet)
Hopefully, it gets better for both our countries 🤝🏻

  • @saalvosegg8171 says:

As someone who is Swedish and Finnish I can confirm this how it can go. The person I’m married to we met at a Western bar/nightclub. Everytime I was there. They were there. We started playing this game there it started out cold but started warming up. Long story short we started hanging out until we realized we had something going on.

  • @rsm5627 says:

If dating is a new comcept in Sweden, how did it used to work before?

    • @andrearoth1428 says:

Probably they were promised to one another by parents? 😅

    • @user-lm6dg4qj6b says:

People would be spending time together and doing things together but not going on official dates.

    • @gliboperuta9213 says:

i guess it was similar to today but because these dating apps didnt exist the selection was lesser so they ended up with people in their proximity from their circle of friends. but it always was love marriage, never arranged marriage, except maybe really long ago in the iron age or something they did arranged marriages in nordic countries.

    • @TheCryptoOptimist says:

A German would see it as going from ‘Ficka to Fika’

    • @Facerip says:

You meet people from your vicinity/friend group growing up/local or agacent communities.

100+ years ago, we did used to have arranged marriages in Sweden. That is now outlawed and deeply frowned upon.

  • @victorarregnelle8976 says:

    I don’t care I’m going to sweden

  • @rebeccamcroberts5486 says:

Sad. Having sex with a stranger over & over? Not appealing.

  • @rebeccamcroberts5486 says:

My guess is this is her and her friends experience, but not the norm.

  • @ImmortalRimas says:

Isn’t that how they do it in Iceland as well?

  • @user-lm6dg4qj6b says:

This is not how everyone is doing it in Sweden. But this woman always want to show Sweden as being more extreme than what it is. People are doing it all kind of ways, some people get in a relationship directly and some don´t have sex until being in a serious relationship.

    • @DatingBeyondBorders says:

Yes there are differences as in any country in the world. I say this many times but it is tough not to generalize when talking about culture especially in shorts. Full video gives more information

    • @user-lm6dg4qj6b says:

@@DatingBeyondBorders Joking around with stereotypes is fun but you have to be respectful and don´t exaggerate or think that some cultures are better than others. I have red a lot of comments from people who have read your book about scandinavians and they are now saying that they don´t want to come here because scandinavia sounds lika an awful place even though it used to be their dream. Just becasue what they read in your book., For example when you are saying that “it is swedish culture” to not make any friends as an adult or that people don´t care if someone is sitting alone at a party. I would say those are not swedish culture and probably exceptions.

And that is sad when I and many swedes don´t agree with what you have written. I´m just asking you to understand that when you are writing and or making videos about small countries it´s going to affect people and have consequenses. If you write about america or canada there will be so much more information and books about that country but it´s not that way with smaller countries. I´m just asking you to have a bit more respect for the swedish/scandinavian people. So many people here are also friendly, welcoming and inviting. I think it just starts with yourself. Just learn the culture and you will be able to make friends everywhere.

    • @michelleg7 says:

Yet Sweden has the highest divorce rate in the EU so something isn’t working there.

  • @TheBrainfsck says:

In Sweden, it’s exactly my cup of tea 🍵 ;))

  • @TheLordIdanZiegeL says:

How do Swedish families exist then?? There are no arranged marriges there. Surely, there are love stories like any other place.

    • @Trekatterochjag says:

Yes of course! Sweden has one of the higher rates of children being born in europe and most of the parents are together when the Child is born. So it’s not that extreme as it seems in these videos.

    • @GA.1022 says:

@@Trekatterochjagexactly! these videos are more humor than anything

  • @louiseleite3866 says:

    Absolutely disgusting.

    • @Trekatterochjag says:

The good thing is that it is not as bad as she describes it. She likes to describe it as more extreme than it is.

  • @leonora8704 says:

Sounds like a complete nightmare. Absolutely ridiculous 🤣

  • @swepower3597 says:

Global guys, she’s just joking. Nothing of this is true, no need to come here and check it out. Stay wherever you are

  • @xtriggermortisx7881 says:

This is just like America tbh. Either theres an instant spark (lust) or theres no chance at all

    • @MarioLopez-rn2bs says:

Especially if you’re meeting someone through a dating app. Very likely to have sex on first encounter. I think the difference between the two countries is it’s more frowned upon in the US where in Sweden not so much

    • @SRBOMBONICA86 says:

@@MarioLopez-rn2bsno omg noooooo ,swedish woman has HUNDREDS of partners, for them its the norm ,in usa thats a minority ,yes some have 10 sex partners or 20 but its not like in sweden plus STDs are insanely high in Sweden for normal girls not prostitutes, trust me you will never find women with so many sex partners as in Nordic countries

  • @TheMagnificentGman says:

Ah yes the Islamic Republic of Sweden
