    Myths of self love.
*Self care, massages, bubblebaths, etc. *It’s selfish.
*I’ve given up on finding love from someone else.
*Self love is a quick fix.

Self love is an essential part of the ability to give love. Setting the stage for the kind of love your worthy of.
    1. Self assertiveness.
    2. What do I need right now? Send yourself a beam of love and breathe.
    3. Be your own best friend.
    4. Release the need to be perfect.

My practices to self love started with acceptance. I had low self esteem regarding my looks because of the past abusive relationship. Once I accepted myself and my looks, it was uphill from there.
I do things I enjoy with people who are joyful and happy and loveable. That circle is important.
I’ve learned no is an answer and an acceptable one.
I’m still open to find love even though I’m not sure what that looks like. But I know what it should feel like.
I have a ‘friend’ right now that I love hanging out with. We have lots of things in common and have a great time just being ourselves. It’s very comfortable. Is there chemistry? No
Could there be at some point? Absolutely. Not sure where this is going, if anywhere, but I’m good and will be ok.
My problem is enjoying and not getting caught up in the ‘could this develop into something more’ and totally missing a guy that might be the one 🤔

  • @tristamarie7115 says:

Say ‘no’ to requests you don’t want to do or requests you normally accept out of guilt/shame…for me, last minute requests give me anxiety and I feel pressured….I would say something like, ‘Thank you for inviting me tonight, but unfortunately I’m not going to be able to make it. Enjoy ___________ and I hope you have a great time.’
