Not low self esteem but humility. Japan has a culture based on respect, even the men are humble and respectful
Exactly, being humble, respectful, pushing through together even in hard times, hard working, and rigid roles, and different honorifics allow them survive and even thrive
Sometimes
The men are respectful unless you are on public transportation.
Low self esteem is not good for success. Humility is good for success
lol sone might beg to differ
@Jester Bons if you aren’t confident in yourself how can you expect other people to be confident in you.
Youre wrong
Nope- always trying harder, never feeling you’ve achieved enough- it’s a vicious cycle that keeps most from getting complacent and resting on their laurels.
Him: I’m an expert, I had sushi yesterday
I’m fucking wheezing
I’m DECEASED… stop🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀🤧🤧🤧🤧
Lmao
😆😆
😩😭😭😭
How to announce that you’ve never been able to make a relationship work.
Is that how you took it.
Judging by divorce statistics, most people haven’t 🤷♂️
“I like my women with low self esteem bc the high self esteem ones kept saying no” – him, probably
@Layton how can you possibly take this?
I genuinely like watching these videos on my Shorts Feed, because the comment section gives better advice than the video it self
Facts, the comment section always has more dependable advice versus the actual video
He literally didn’t provide a single piece of advice. Lmao
I don’t even get it. Needs a diagram
No cap this one girl goes to school in Japan her bestfriend def has low self esteem told her boyfriend she texts guys to check her phone because they had a argument Lmao
Absolutely agree
“They overachieve”
Me: ohh that means they got high payin-
“That’s why they’re beautiful”
🗿
Right?! That made no sense!
4 IQ thought process 🗿
I know rite.
That next sentence makes me like huh
Exactly what I was thinking
That’s crazy that he’s met every Japanese girl in the world
Crazy right, this guy si really fast meeting people
🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Just another fake guru, spitting without facts and studies. I wonder what book he read on that one
He’s talking from a cultural standpoint. For example, in USA, people have inflated egos, warning without working. How many women you see here wanting rich man, etc but their values don’t match to their wants. In Japan it’s different.
The Waffle House has spoken, Phase 2 initiated.
How is it funny when everybody knows it
American people must learn to be humble,.humility is not low self esteem
@Daxie__ and what is the difference between suicide rate in the US and Japan?
The guy literally just said people with low self-esteem overachieve and majority of NPC’s still think having low self-esteem is a purely negative trait. :/
@HOLY FRANCHESCO I’m American and have low self esteem
I’ll do alright in Japan tbh
“Humility is the Master’s only power”
Lao Tsu
No such thing as humility in the west
Be humble to others, be hard on yourself.
We do often mistake being hard on ourselves as being unstable or with low self-esteem.
People with low-self esteem overachieve? Either my self esteem is through the roof or I’ve already accomplished all of my lifes goals. lmfao
😂 exactly the same…these people are crazy
As someone married to a Japanese woman, I can tell you that their humility and demure behavior is simply the way they’re socialized in their culture. It doesn’t represent their inner attitudes and personality. But you won’t know that if you’re jumping from one girl to the next to the next. All you know is the facade.
I have also heard that they take awesome care of their elders. Elders are very respected.
Are you saying that humble and demure persona goes away after they are out of that Japanese culture for awhile?
@Royce Walters i thinks he’s saying that being well manered isnt a personality, and when they’re in private they`re more relaxed and true to themselves
@Depressed_Koala, Oic. Well, that’s unfortunate. Guess it means we’re right back where we started. They’re all same.
@Royce Walters i dont think its that bad, they’re still well behaved but imagine its like you at work/school and you at home, you probably carry yourself differently but you’re still the same person at heart, i think what the guy said above us was that at home they express themselves more freely without being as afraid of societal pressure
gotta love a American explaining Japanese culture
He has been living there for years if you know him. The thing with the internet is people make comments without having a clue of what they are talking about.
Its like mansplaining women too
Ikr
Well when someone who’s lived in that country for years I think they have every right and capability of talking about that culture since they know firsthand. But yeah let’s hears about your Japanese experience since YOU yourself live there right?🤦🏻♀️
Ahhhhh…..soft bigotry.
There’s a thin line between humility and low self esteem/weakness, many Japanese people have it others are just humble and nice 😊
You’ve got it wrong sir. Not low self esteem. It’s humility and respect
It’s not low self esteem. It’s humility and respect for others
“It’s the taller trees in the woods that get their tops blown off.”
Spoken like a man who visited Japan for 10 days
Oh yeah I heard that applies to everyone in Japan, not just women. You don’t want to stick out and look special. Everyone conforms. It doesn’t mean they don’t know how to have fun. They do have cosplay events and stuff. But in general, people are not walking around like they’re the main character of a story like we do here in the US.
