12:48 I’m sorry what?? Because of skin tone and hair. And then people try to gaslight us and say colorism is not real. Mind you this from a pastor.

  • @GINNIEJOY5420 says:

It seems as though this young man has gotten more caught up “in moving with intentions” than with moving by God’s leading when it comes to choosing the right woman, thereby making his quest to find the right “help mate” way too complicated. Stop listening with your physical ears to all those other people and start listening more intently to God with your “spiritual ears.” God will make it VERY clear who the right woman/purpose partner is for you.

    • @TheChillionaire007 says:

Honey!!!! I’m apart of a prayer group and they are always speaking on being intentional and preparing ourselves for what we want and it just never sits well with me. I truly believe that God does not want me to move in that manner. I have been blessed with way more opportunities when I was just staying in my word, being outside to be able to be a blessing to others and just going with the flow of the Holy Spirit.

    • @dionneaseals says:

      Exactly!!

    • @eebz5 says:

Yup. Perfectionism is overwhelming him. Pray he taps into the Word and God’s prompting. The outside noise is throwing him.

    • @merriem24 says:

      This!!!

    • @rachelphillips5576 says:

Exactly. These new terms are what’s hurting these folks. “Intentional” just move on faith. With the flow of the Holy Spirit
Woman know when a man is intentional and when he is not. It’s not that hard@@TheChillionaire007

  • @JWillSell says:

I wonder if AO is also so in love with the idea of who he is that he self sabotages!

    • @J_Elle30 says:

Right, he may be able to provide financially, but he doesn’t give off a protective vibe. Many women need that in their partner. He will find the right one.

    • @lorinawilliams says:

Also, it seems she might’ve been of different race since he mentioned being black as one of his insecurities at that moment.

In my opinion, some black men don’t seem to understand that dating and marrying outside of their race will have them feeling unsafe and insecure where they will never be understood as a black man.

I’m not trying to be close minded or opposed to dating outside of your race. However, I am aware that this can be the problem.

    • @tomaradoss3420 says:

@@J_Elle30 that or he will grow into a protector.

@@lorinawilliamsi love how you worded this. i think this is what i was trying to express to male friends

  • @shareenladd1048 says:

The man is the winner 🥇
The woman is the prize 🏆

  • @HerNameisTaleshia says:

The pressure to date with intention is crazy . And I feel like people get scared by being intentional … that doesn’t mean i am rushing it means I will not waste my time with idle conversations and situations! ❤

    • @tomaradoss3420 says:

      Make it that simple!!!
Intentional seems to mean every date I go on ,Could this be my wife/husband! That ain’t the way. Have fun , and trust God. I never had to do anything particular to be granted gifts from God.

    • @wandalee4572 says:

@@tomaradoss3420it means if you don’t see a future don’t entertain it no dating, or try to fit a square peg in a round hole.

    • @tomaradoss3420 says:

      @ I know
Exactly what you mean🎯 because I was good for that! But you may meet someone you do enjoy.

  • @jnunn79 says:

To see him maturing in his journey is beautiful to see. Good luck

  • @katinastevenson5633 says:

It’s refreshing to see men vulnerable, and transparent ❤❤❤

  • @merriem24 says:

I think because we as black people sometimes wait so long to settle down, we miss that a life with someone is something you create and not something that comes already packaged completely.

  • @GigiLee-p7f says:

My dad would always tell us is that you can’t be the wrong person to the right person 😊

  • @sunnyswain2314 says:

Love it….not getting married for the wedding… getting married for the assignment on our lives and praying for our life in Christ…..Amazing

  • @tanyamcmorris554 says:

If, Laterras, Anthony and Wall Street Trapper get together. It would be a whole situation. I appreciate this prayer between both of these men.

  • @HersheyKay says:

Moving with intentions isn’t bound by time. Intentions means making every effort count.

  • @alicetheegreet says:

Anthony, I’m sending you a virtual hug. I really regret to hear those women in your life didn’t give you the emotional support you needed in your vulnerable moments. I hope you find your someone soon.

  • @datstrue says:

Shout out to AO for calling out the truth!! It’s a lot of black men who prefer DARK SKINNED BLACK WOMEN and had self-hating elders talk against it. I’m glad he don’t talk to dude no more

  • @emilymyles9424 says:

He simply is choosing women based on looks. Vanity will keep you single. Just because you have money, doesn’t mean you need or deserve a supermodel.

  • @pctekgrl says:

This is a historical Day! Two brothas praying for one another? GOD THANK YOU FOR THIS CURRENT MOMENT. These Kings deserve their future wifey for your glory GOD! Amen!

  • @emilymyles9424 says:

Anyone with discernment can tell that he is not a healthy person. These women are an ego stroke for him. This a deeply insecure man. You can’t be vulnerable if you are not authentic and a person. This is fake honesty.

  • @shedagirl1726 says:

I use to not be crazy for him, but he’s definitely changed. He’s being very intentional about his future wife/children❤

    • @OhhYouu..MICHELLE says:

Same! But he still has work to do, He may need to get around Eric Thomas and the growing group of men that he mentees

  • @naledimathole683 says:

Whilst I did enjoy the interview and felt Latteras did a great job , something about Anthony still felt like although he’s acknowledging God , he hasn’t let Him be in full control. When he spoke about the table analogy it still felt like he still refuses to release control. It’s not necessarily a bad thing to know what you want and move with intention but I’ve learnt that the best blessings and miracle are left when God is left to do what only he can do. This was actually confirmation to me about something I’ve been praying about and the Holy Spirit revealed that praying with intention is not enough , I haven’t trusted God enough.

    • @AB24Shine says:

This is it. When he said people said there’s no reason he should be single, I disagree even as a single woman in her 30s. Maybe by human logic but God has a purpose in the waiting and delay. If we are submitted to God AND it’s the right time per God, He will bring it at that time. But He wants us to trust Him in the waiting which usu means giving up control.

    • @naledimathole683 says:

@@AB24Shine Exactly!! This right here. This man isn’t fully submitted to Christ, and that’s okay because it honestly takes time but his failure to acknowledge it made this feel very “surface level” even though people are commending him for being “transparent”. Its not always about what is said but about what’s not said/seen- 2 Corinthians 4.18 (KJV) 18while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

  • @Zandra_W says:

This conversation was so pure, honest, transparent, open and incredible. Thank you for this one Laterras.
    God was in the room.
