This was a gem, I enjoyed the comedic relief and this couples’ delivery of humanity. My favorite episode. So relatable yet it point backs to Christ being the only way we can heal and overcome our human flaws.
@laterras’s laugh is absolutely contagious.
I have followed these two for years. When the allegations came out I never really followed them but I did discern a long time ago that it was a spirit of rejection. Listening to this podcast gives even more clarity of cycles that have been going on. They both have been rejected by their birth parents. Rejected and hurt at their first church. Miscarriage. Believe it or not, this stuff creeps in and starts leaking into different parts of your life. Now everything he was doing was to make his “dad” proud come to find out it wasn’t even his dad. My God! I pray that God heals them completely from all the hurt and childhood trauma. God is not done with Cornelius yet and I see him back on the pulpit. I’ll never forget the prophecy that Travis Greene gave them regarding Hollywood. May it come to pass without delay. May God use them mightily for the Kingdom of God. May they not forget the real reason why they were sent out to LA.
There’s a difference between authenticity & glorifying sin. We should be authentic, yes, but we should also be repentant over the reality of our brokenness. At the very least we shouldn’t laugh about it, trivialize it and then label that ‘being real’. It can be real and wrong or unfitting of a believer, at the same time. The goal can’t just be ‘be real’. We have to be godly too. If we can’t, that’s just the reality, but it’s sad when it’s laughed at.
Well said! The goal should not be to rest in our humanity but rather to submit our humanity to God and for him to conform and mold us towards Godliness and his standard!
Cornelius is super funny 😄😁😁. He said “please don’t pray for me, I don’t even know who y’all pray to” 😂😂😂😂
I have followed you both for years on social media, and your authenticity is truly remarkable. Powerful & impactful interview. Very relatable topics in everyday life I can relate to as God’s servant, wife & mom. These are real issues I can relate to. Thank you
I came across Heather Lindsey right after giving my life to Christ. She definitely helped me in my abstinence journey and becoming a Godly woman. I got a lot of support from the Pinky Promise community as well. I became a PP leader. As a matter of fact God gave me an urging I had never felt to start a small group at my church. I led a PP group for years. Right before things started falling apart at their church God led me to change the name of my ministry and start to come up with my own content. I am still in ministry. I will say PP gave me my start. And I do believe God used her mightily and she gave her all to that group. I did not like the way Heather left the community with no explanation but I believe it served its purpose in my life. I stopped following them because I knew they were going through things and in some sort of transition that they needed to work out. Honestly we should all still be growing. Thats why we have to be careful leading others when we are going through growth and change. I like what they said in the interview and I believe God is not done with them.
The realest comment! We’re all human. I discerned a long time ago that they both had a spirit of rejection that they had to deal with. A couple years later Cornelius posted his situation with his dad and mom. Imagine being told this is not your real dad at like 35 years old. Heather has her own family issues. These are real people.
This Dude is my husband twin. People don’t always believe how much my husband loves and honor God because of some of the ways he think and feel but he’s not going to sugarcoat his feelings and he’s not going to fake church
I absolutely enjoyed the Podcast today. They are so funny. They have me in tears 😂 laughing. My husband is so much like her husband. He is a real person who loves God. When my brothers met him they told me don’t play no games with him. He asked me to marry him every week for five 5️⃣ years. Now we are happily married. He is still a real person who loves God. But when I say he has the sickness and health vow down, the better and worse, and the richer for poorer. I almost died 3 times in 2024.
So because he wants to give into the flesh now everyone else is a moralist. Good thing I stopped following them a long time ago, about 6-7 years ago. It does happen that during the journey people get weary and then fall off because following the Lord is a hard. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Often times you lose your zeal, the fire dies out but instead of admitting such we want to bring everyone else down with us. We must endure to the end, those who endure to the end will be saved. We should not get more lax as time goes on but continue strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
I’m one of the women that’s been following Heather Lindsey’s ministry for years. She’s always been spiritual and open about her life. I respect how genuine her and her husband are. I remember God leading me to watch Heather’s YouTube channel where she would share her testimonies of the things God had done for her and was teaching her
They don’t even attend church anymore. She is nothing more than a scammer, please do your research on her.
I used to watch her talk show she was doing really well with that.
@@mariaasher9880Are they still pastors somewhere or just following God from home, I haven’t followed them in years.
@@mariaasher9880yeah I actually truly enjoyed her preaching. She doesn’t preach anymore
This blessed me! I’m always rooting for Heather & Cornileus. Their family unit has been a testimony to me and mines for a long time. I appreciate Cornileus testimony about alcoholism. That was real!
Cornelius had me rolling!!! Heather, “ that’s my husband”
This was so uncut, realistic, and so relatable! This episode should’ve been named “Humanity!” I think this may be my favorite episode this far!❤
Same lol like Fr
This is soooo good! I started following Cornelius after the suffering in silence sermon. Heather has always been real and a breath of fresh air. Love this! It was real and so funny! I love how they let each other just be themselves, without putting one another down. This is a good lesson!
Thank you Laterras. As a Christian I know the freedom that comes through Christ but I know so many people who see Christianity as a boxed in lifestyle. I will definitely be sharing this episode to encourage my friends
No judgement only concern. I beg to differ about the cigars and the chemicals not entering the body. For addictive personalities it is habit forming. My husband has been smoking cigars for about 10 years and substitutes a cigar for alcohol when he doesn’t want to drink. He does not inhale but gets a similar high effect. The cigar smoke smell comes out when he uses the restroom, use your imagination which means the tobacco is going through the system. Also cancer is running rampant in our community…prostate, colon lung, mouth and so on,
so I would appeal to anyone smoking please think about cessation. Thank you for sharing your story.
Agreed
‘A man is not a cookie for good behaviour‼️We are meant to glorify God with our lives’. That part❣️
