It shocks me how more and more people expect you to sleep with them on the first date.
Kinda of the consequences of the proliferation of hookup culture. When thereโs a major ideology that pushes promiscuity as something good you get this. Thereโs a reason why dating & relationships are going away, so few people have the social skills to maintain a long-term relationship & hookup culture is a big reason why.
I think that in Finland is less and less, it just used to be how we dated but nowadays people are more aware of womens right and its easier to get accused of a rape even if it was consensual because the law changed and now the statement of unwillingness is enough to make it a rape in the eyes of law
It shocks me more that a simple meet canโt be at the park or somewhere free to be and do things vs someone demanding a meal at a place they canโt afford for themselves. Time is one thing time and money are another.

Finland is completely different from the US and in Finland you would have such rights as a woman that you donโt need a man at all to pay the bill and where you would have sex exclusively for pleasure. You would be respected, with all possible womenโs rights that you can and cannot imagine. There is no romance, but there is respect and rights.

At first it shocked me too, I must confess, but I was only 12 at the time.
