I ask Hawa from France what has been the biggest culture shock she has experienced since coming to Canada and what has been the hardest part about dating in Canada, namely Toronto.

  • @lcg5790 says:

Well it’s not really acceptable to be multi dating here either. Maybe upgrade your social group?

    • @fivestarplaying3553 says:

The also say that’s acceptable in the US, but I’ve found that’s only the case with a small group of non-religious young people in big cities πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

    • @lcg5790 says:

@@fivestarplaying3553 Low life activities have always been accepted and encouraged where there is no love for or fear of God.

    • @user-fs5sx2uh2h says:

      @@lcg5790 sounds about right.

    • @Entername-md1ev says:

I think people are just going on dates with different people (who they aren’t in serious relationships with) to test the waters. Once they get into an actual relationship then yes what this lady is saying isn’t normal

  • @ilhuicatlamatini says:

I too β€œprefer the French mentality on dating”, it just makes more sense and is more respectful.

  • @coachhbosoccer says:

    I’m marrying her❀

  • @yunleung2631 says:

Yup. Welcome to North America. When I go to Europe I don’t plan to do this but this is a survival strategy.

    • @kingofdjembe says:

I think it’s the same in a good part of south America as well. At least in Brazil it is.

    • @yunleung2631 says:

@@kingofdjembe Not shocked. I much rather be content with one person than have to date multiple girls at the same time. But I know no one is committed. Alas.

    • @dancechica says:

On this same channel European women were complaining about hookup culture too. It’s a pandemic

  • @bongimusprime7981 says:

oh yeah that’s a French woman alright πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  • @DaDaDo661 says:

Maybe in Quebec multiple partners is normal, but that’s not the general norm in Canada

  • @johngonzalez4298 says:

Marina, tu eres una mujer muy bonita ❀

  • @blackadonis12847 says:

Ive been wondering where in Canada this channel was based now I can definitely confirm it is in Quebec probably in Montreal, the rest of canada cannot find a date to save their lives dating culture is extremely horrible here. Might be better in smaller towns maybe but that gets a bit incestuous though..

  • @0401412740 says:

Shes not french. Shes African American

    • @ernestinezzz1707 says:

      She’s definitely French.
Listen to the vocabulary she is using, the accent she has.
      Definitely French.

    • @arspoetica5479 says:

@@ernestinezzz1707guy, she is french speaker but not French!

    • @silverking2181 says:

      @@arspoetica5479She is french.

    • @arspoetica5479 says:

@@silverking2181 she wish. She has AFRICAN ETHNICITY, NOT WHITE!

    • @silverking2181 says:

@@arspoetica5479 So what ? Some french departments are literally former colonies inhabited by black people. They are black and they are french.

France is not a “white” country anymore. It’s been like 100 years since the last time it was.

And by the way, there are white Africans.

  • @arspoetica5479 says:

Really she is french? She doesnt look…

    • @FeelinErie says:

Believe it not, a person can be French and non-white πŸ™‚ I am black and born and raised in the UK, making me British.

    • @Weezy-zy9qy says:

It’s not like she claimed to be ethnic French. If she’s born and raised in France, then she’s French.

      Get the fvck over it

    • @Entername-md1ev says:

@@FeelinEriepeople don’t know the difference between ethnicity and nationality. UK and France both have massive immigrant populations (South Asia and Anglo-Africa in Britain; Arabs and Franco-Africans in France) who were born and raised there

    • @greenytaddict says:

And what is a French person supposed to look like?πŸ˜‚

  • @broflo8859 says:

    “French women” πŸ˜‚
Speaking french doesn’t make you French

  • @daytodaylivin4418 says:

Same in germany, i hear people talk about not being official or dating multiple people etc in the US, Canada or even England and it feels like im living on another planet… if a man told me that here i would consider him to be the worst human being in this country

  • @Durahan82 says:

    I called it .

  • @heriport6654 says:

    Tabarnak baby bienvenue a quebec

  • @cherubine7735 says:

btw yall in france we have our own version of african americans and stuff. like we have a lot of black people who’se grandparents were from former french colonies who immigrated to france and assimilated and are now considered 100 % french (also in france to be french legally you need to either have french parents or be born in france. you dont need to be white)

  • @vexillethepretzel9086 says:

As an American black guy it’s so weird seeing a black person speak French. Still, you can be in whatever country, culture or nationality. To me, the final say so is your DNA. So I might have been born and raised in The U.S. She might have been born and raised in France, Ultimately it all boils down to Africa.

  • @wyattmp says:
