@@atharidurr9366 just do it the right way. When you marry, you have an obligation to work really hard to make sure that relationship works no matter what challenges come upon you. You are setting an example how you want to be treated. I have a girlfriend who’s not talking to me right now. She’s in-and-out of relationships with men moving in-and-out of her home. She asked me why nobody nobody will marry her. I told her he doesn’t need to get married. Why would he? He’s got everything he wants with no commitment. Why would he put himself in that position if there’s no reason. I can’t lie to people, so I tell the truth or I bite my tongue.

The last guy she she lived with, before this new one, up and moved to Arizona , But kept posting on her Facebook page with a mistake he made and how much he loves her and yet he had no intentions of getting back with her, he just wanted to keep her in his we’re in his grasp. I told her and gave her a list of what a narcissistic sociopath looks like. That pretty much ruined our friendship but she keeps doing this to herself. Then she calls me and cries on the phone asking for prayer.

How can I go through this man after man after man when she’s not going to do a darn thing to make it better?

I had a man I’d been dating a few decades ago and he decided to move back home to New York which I’m in California. At that time, I had a young teen and and my boyfriend wanted me to move out there to date😳 He was so hurt that I wouldn’t go out there to be with him and yet I had a son, family, friends, my whole life here in California with no prep to to leave, drop everything to find another life, job, home,… No thank you!

After my husband died I met a man that I had known since he was a year old, but hadn’t seen him in 33 years after highschool was over, Jr. High for him. The Lord had already told me I would be meeting somebody from the old neighborhood that I was going to marry, which I wasn’t excited about to be honest, until I met him again.🤗

It turned out he lived a couple of hours away and for me and financially it would have been really smart just to move up there and live together. That way I could have kept the social security that I just started receiving. My younger son was only 8, his dad died when he was almost 7. I absolutely was not going to show him that that was the way I was going to be treated. Just moving in with somebody without a commitment! So we long distance dated until our wedding day came up. We bumped up the wedding day because my my house sold in 2 weeks when no houses were selling. If that’s not a sign from divine intervention, I don’t know what is. So many things fell exactly into place this place. Including his 2 dogs which were golden retrievers. My late husband had wanted a golden retriever for our son but we didn’t have a lot of time as we were working so much, and then he battled a very aggressive cancer. So many details, I’d have to write a book.

I knew right away that my current husband was the one. It took him 2 weeks to figure it out. We are now coming up on our 9 year anniversary of being married.
God is so good when we trust.

I have the same kind of story. My husband of 24 years died of cancer at age 51. One month before he died, my husband said “ I hope you meet a nice guy and get married again.” Well I did get married again 3 years later. But it was not a good experience. I should have spent more time discerning. I’m divorced now after 10 years with that guy. Recently I started dating a guy who has similar interests to my late husband. He was a friend for 8 years before we started dating. We have fun together. Dating at age 66 is different than when you are young and looking for hot sex and someone to marry and have kids with. We run errands together and just hang out. Neither one of us is interested in marriage at this stage in life. I’m just taking it a day at a time. I’m glad my husband said that to me 16 years ago and that I’m not afraid to try again after relationship failures.

I could relate to this story totally a little different circumstances and the ending didn’t quite turn out the same. After 15 yrs of being single this man made me feel wonderful. He couldn’t believe how open and guard down after what I went through. My point is even though we will not end up together I will love him and appreciate our time together. There is a part of me that’s sad. Losing my mom last year and realizing what did I do in those 15 yrs? Kinda hurts. But I’m positive and hopeful. I would tell any woman don’t put your self in a rut, love yourself and be true to yourself ✌
