How can you tell if he’s emotionally available from your first dates?

The truth is you can’t.

Some obvious red flags aside (like not regularly arranging dates with you) no amount of quizzing your friends, or creeping on his IG is going to give you the answers you want.

One of the trickiest parts of the early stages of dating is that you’re in the unknown: You can’t judge and know everything instantly.

If you can accept you’re in the unknown, then you can really think about what to do about it.

Does this mean you take things more slowly?

Or communicate your boundaries more clearly?

Or put less focus on him?
