Is the Scarcity Mindset Keeping You SINGLE? 😳 #shorts

#“I’ll never meet anyone…”

“No one wants commitment anymore…”

If you want to sabotage your dating life, having a “scarcity mindset” is a great way to do it.

The scarcity mindset is where you enter into a belief that you genuinely have no options.

This primes you to cling on harder to any “good” options you feel come your way.

Which can mean you put people on a pedestal too quickly, and when they don’t live up to your expectations, it compounds this cycle.

There are 2 incredibly simple steps you can take to change this:

1. Consistently take action. You need to keep focusing on meeting people. This is actually much easier said than done, you may find that procrastination, emotional exhaustion, and a lack of self belief all interfere with your chances to meet people.

2. Delay judgement. If you “just know” within moments of meeting someone that they’re “not for you” you could be eliminating people too early. By disregarding lots of options as “not real options” again you open yourself up that feeling of scarcity. A more open minded, speculative outlook will serve you better. If they “seem quite nice” give yourself just a little more time to explore your connection.

The video is very interesting. It can be used in any life situations such as meeting new people, starting new friendships, jobs etc.
When I was listening to you Hayley, I remembered two quotes. And they go like this:
    1. Robin Williams once told this thing: “It’s not the worst thing when you are alone. The worst thing is when you are in society that makes you feel alone.”
    2. Vladeta Jerotic once told this thing: “Those people who love solitude are those people who have paid dearly for someone’s presence in society.”
