I’ve never dated a Turkish woman, but I can see this is real. I laughed about the long goodbye (“Just 10 minutes!”) 🀣🀣🀣

  • @5566letslearnEnglish says:

The series which she told about in the video is “AşkΔ±-memnu”(forbidden love).. great tv show.. Thanks Marina for this beautiful video ❀..

  • @cltinturkey says:

I lived for five years in Turkey. This is all true!

  • @hfredydl says:

My fiancΓ©e is Turkish! The part about the shoes is 100% true. I’m used to shoes inside the house and she flipped out when I did that. Gave me a whole speech about dog poop etc on outdoor shoes. Oh and you forgot to include bidets. Yeah, thats not something we do in the States and she flipped out about that too lol. Needless to say I am now looking to install bidets. Still, I love her and her yogurt!! (Ayran – that’s all I have to say lol)

    • @Heavenlight100 says:

lucky one. in sha allah you two will always be happy together

    • @katarinask139 says:

You Americans are dirty for wearing shoes in the house, we also wear slippers in Slovakia and everywhere in Eastern Europe

  • @kayakazmirci2440 says:

I’ve been living with a Turkish woman for 35 years and I call her ‘aşkΔ±m’. Big breakfasts are a thing but I’ve never found her to be jelous or concerned if I was in a social or business environment with women. Long unannounced visits from friends and relatives are also a thing but if I get bored during such a visit I announce that I have an appointment and leave. When I come back 30 minutes later the guest is usually gone.

Loved loved loved this long form content!!!

  • @venus_e says:

Hello, I am Turkish and I have been waiting for this videooo. First i want to say, yes jealousy is a thing but young people are changing and possessiveness becomes less. For example I am not that jealous or possessive because nowadays we see it as being insecure. Secondly, the shoe thing is so true… my boyfriend is Portuguese and we talked about this a lot of times and he was so surprised πŸ˜‚ as for the series, I myself don’t like them because they’re way too long and way too dramatic but soap operas has their own fanbase that’s true. Other than that, Turkish women are generally really caring, they make breakfast for you, worry about you, hug and kiss you suddenly, sometimes they buy little gifts for you for no reason. Thank you for the video ❀

    • @Frivals says:

But when foreigners come they don’t apply the same culture of hospitality and are rude and want to take advantage of foreigners or just not welcoming, not all but still that’s my experience

    • @venus_e says:

@@Frivals if you’re talking about turkish, I have visited so many countries and unfortunately and embarrassingly trying to taking advantage of foreigners is a global thing.

    • @Frivals says:

@@venus_e not the same everywhere, some more some less

    • @venus_e says:

      @@Frivals yeah maybe

    • @edaaaaaaaaaaa says:

As a Turkish woman I totally agree with the ‘young’ turks part we’re not jealous and don’t like soap operas

  • @EduardoRodriguez-jm8sz says:

The never ending goodbye is a Mediterranean thing, not only Turkish πŸ˜‚. We suffer it as much in Spain and Italy

  • @johngonzalez4298 says:

Happy Thursday, Marina! Great video today and I hope to see more of this videos. From my experience, a couple of years ago I was talking to a half American πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² / half Turkish πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡· girl and we got to go out for dinner a few times and spend time together and lived in different cities but same state of Florida but I didn’t get to experience much of what the video represents. Sending love your way ❀

  • @papazataklaattiranimam says:

Turkish woman trying not to be angry or stressed for 10 seconds…

  • @rupertpupkin8641 says:

This was so good! I can tell the production lads knows what they are doing. Bravo! Let me find a Turkish woman now

  • @chetyoubetya8565 says:

Oh I agree with the shoes 100%I think I have anxiety when people want to keep their shoes on in my house.Amazing how many people will fight you on wearing dirty outdoor shoes inside .

  • @andreask.1734 says:

As a Turkish- German guy I can confirm that everything in this great video is absolutely true !! Especially wearing shoes in the flat is simply unacceptable and considered dirty and disrespectful to someone’s home. What maybe could have been shown more was the big Turkish tea obsession and serving dinners with various dishes everyday even if you are just yourselves .when someone comes for dinner a min 3-4 dishes meal is expected and the norm. For Turks there are No limits to hospitality and friendship!! Loved the video and the Turkish ladies ! Tebrikler , Γ§ok teşekkΓΌr ederim! 😊

  • @SpettroFamily says:

haha so cool this girl – and the breakfast she did – i would love it ! 😊

  • @AmanBenyamin says:

I was with one in the past❀. The accent, the food, her clinging..the soap operas. Being American I didn’t know what to make of this kind of love…now I understand and miss her til this day!

  • @musicenthusiast19 says:

This one is so realistic compared to the previous one, love it! So so so good, makes me want to be backπŸ₯°β€οΈ

  • @caseclosed9342 says:

As an American who for some reason loves tea, never wears outside shoes indoors and would have friends visit late into the evening I’m starting to think I’m secretly Turkish. It’s funny because I used to think I was secretly Chinese with the tea and shoes part. A recent trip to Turkey and this video showed me the truth about myself! πŸ˜‚

  • @NordiCrusader7 says:

I am engaged to Azeri-Turkish woman. We go to my (South-West England) local coastal restaurant: quiet, good food and service.. that or the cinema and it feels romantic, because we are not interrupted; nobody bothers anyone here. She likes relaxing together with cuddles watching TV. I do not want her feel jealous though (I hate drama), please lads, I implore you: do not make a Turkish woman jealous

  • @AleksandarDinkov says:

I really like the yogurt part! We (in Bulgaria) use it for treating sunburn as well! 😊 πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬β™₯πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡·
