If you wait for a perfect opportunity to approach her IRL chances are it will:
A. Never happen.
B. Or happen so infrequently that when you do see an opportunity you’ll be too overwhelmed to act on it.
So whilst if you receive eye contact (& a smile!) from her this is a good bonus, don’t expect this to happen in every interaction.
Many women find it hard to send a positive signal, or she may simply not have noticed you.
Provided there’s no negative signals from her (breaking eye contact & not looking back, folding arms, turning away, getting her phone out) kickstart the conversation.
Eye contact and then your ice breaker are just the beginning. It’s when you’re talking and getting to know one another that you start to feel out compatibility.

Yeah men have to put themselves out there so much but women don't have to do anyting
Women do much more than you think yo meet men… if they didn’t have to do anything there’d be no market for dating coaches, matchmakers and (quite a lot of) the beauty industry
Do the weight women expect men to be perfect about it
Imagine this, the game is that a woman tells a man to think of a number 1 to 100 and even by some miracle the man get it right, she still can be sneaky and just say that is was another number. That is how it feels as a man when dealing with women in general courting.
And women get away with never ever having a thing that always works. It’s like an edless frustration loop.
