  • Right. I’m single and 51 and part of the “natural” reason I suspect is I have NEVER bought the narrative that marriage is HARD.

    It’s hard for most who say this because they made a poor choice or married prematurely or incompatible.

    It’s nuanced factors of course. Many people make choices for a number of reasons and are happy to settle.

    And depending upon the maturity poor timing but good choice could be overcome and blossom.

    But what this couple is describing is my standard. In addition to you matching my zeal for holy living and fear of God, I must LIKE you. Only God can deliver such a match and so I wait contented. For Jesus is NOT my consolation prize cause I’m not yet married. And He is still a good God if I never marry. I love ❤️ these testimonies cause it confirms marriage does NOT have to be hard. I don’t believe that. Life is hard. You need a marriage that will make hard life easier to weather. I ain’t moving off this square.

  • When I tell you I get this feeling and go through this so often. It's hard. I really hope and pray that we all can be in the place to be a gift for and receive the gift of our purpose partners

  • ​@clarityspeakz Good for you. I got married at the age 30. I wd be celebrating 30 years of marriage this year. I had no intentions of getting married if it was going to be hard. I was not going t9 settle. I was a happy single until God brought me my purpose partner. Life has indeed been easier and I have no regrets.
