  • My brother kicked me out of his house when I suggested that they have a simple wedding potluck type of ceremony at their church, if they didn’t want to just go to the justice of the peace, like I would’ve done if I was in their shoes. Told them to do something simple and cheap and if they were still together in 10 years, I’d pay for their dream wedding. Then a few years later, he’s calling me asking me to borrow money. I asked him where were all of his guests who he fed and paid so much money for to have a lavish wedding. Told him, the money he spent on his wedding, he could’ve bought a house down in FL where he moved to, when he moved there, out right, without a mortgage nor debt. Some people!
