What are biggest culture shocks that foreigners experience living in Mexico and specifically in Mexico City? I ask people on the streets of Mexico City about the things they love and don't like about Mexico, what has shocked them most and also get Mexican perspective on some of these questions as well.

Great video
well done, thank you for the insights
Good to see you in mexico
I visited Mexico in 2022 and was struck by the excessive warmth and affection, the tardiness and the inability to say "no."
I looove these videos ๐
Happy to hear!
As an Indian who currently lives in Milwaukee, I went to Mexico City 2 months ago with my girlfriend. Ngl but I felt so much closeness to the mexicans who are slightly skin-biased nuts but they were intrigued to talk to me about my culture, clearing their stereotypes about India. One night I was challenged for fighting the spice-level tolerance. At the end, it was just an easy win for me though ๐๐. Anyhow, it made me feel like home away from home in CDMX. My girlfriend and I were seen as a power couple and I can't forget those glances from many chicas on us while strolling at the streets. Whenever a Mexicana looked at us, my girlfriend kissed on my cheek ๐๐ which was quite lovely.
Okay, now the similarities between Indians and Mexicans: Always late, The food, party culture, festivals, recognition of regional languages by our respective governments, obsession with fair skin ๐ (sorry๐ข), Telenovelas (ours are outrageous๐ ๐) and Hopeless romantics๐ ๐.
Mucho amo por los todos mexicanos โค๐. Buena suerte.
Dices que te sentiste deseado por las chicas de Mexico ๐๐amigooo por favor ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Indians are very classist as well. Show off their wealth. Snobs.
@@johnnyflores5954thatโs a huge generalization.
โ@@johnnyflores5954that's not true, in Honduras there's no colorism, so you're basically generalizing.
Colorism and self hate is a problem not just in Mexico, but the hole global south.
Love these culture-region focused interviews. Great job!
Yay - happy to hear ๐
