Where Wifey Took Me For My Birthday
March gave us more than birthdays… it gave us a moment.
My birthday: March 29.
Her birthday: March 31.
Two days apart… but one unforgettable experience.
@ashleyrwhitfield surprised me with a getaway to @Thenewinnca in the heart of wine country.
We saddled up with @winecountrytrailsbyhorseback and rode through wine country like we owned the land… calm, scenic, and deeply grounding. I'm a Texas boy, so she understood the assignment.
We took flight with @californiadreaminballoon and saw Temecula from a perspective that felt like heaven kissed the earth. Floating above the vineyards was peaceful, surreal, and a reminder that elevation will always change your perspective.
Right after the balloon ride, I booked Ashley a massage with @eventmassageservices_ and listen… that level of relaxation should be illegal. Every ounce of tension had to go.
This wasn’t just a birthday…
This was alignment.
This was intentional love.
This was “you deserve this” in real life.
Our not-so-secret escape… just a couple hours outside of Los Angeles… but a world away from everything.
