  Your house is NOT A DATE. I’ve seen over 300 posts of women being raped and assaulted and the man thinking sex is an automatic given just because they invited the women over for a meal.

  If I’m going on a date with you , get dolled up, pay a babysitter to go out with you and you pull that NONSENSE, ima pay for my meal and leave you where you are at.

  If you have been in a relationship for 5 years, you need to go HEAL. These men don’t want to accept package deals and I tell men upfront my kids and I are a package deal if you choose to date me.

  • You are right! You have to take the time to get to know the person! Everything about them. No sex , no money being spent needlessly. If you want to spend money on each other, it has to be because you want to, not because you are expecting anything in return. Or expecting something to become of it. By the time a person gets to know someone they will know if that person is the one, and if the other person feels the same. It takes time! No rushing!

    I feel like you should only invest what you are comfortable investing in. And, I believe that it should be part of your written budget if you are concerned about it. I don't believe that there is any shame in having a line item for dating in a written budget.
