Also, 1 ghing to remember, Britain and the southeast is awash with the whole worlds people. What you think are English are probably not! I'm from London, and there are less and less 100% english londoners left.

    I used to work with many Slavic including Polish. They was a joke between us which the Polish men pointed out.. When a women didn't smile the Polish guys would say "yes she is a Cheszy (polak)" They claimed that Polish women dont smile 😂😂😂.

    Also, Russian women, Ukrainian women, Bulgarian women (in my experience) only smile when guys pull out a gold card or when they want something... Many slavic women will date other cultures for fun (sex) but mostly (almost always) marry men from their own country, sometimes remain married with their husband back home while they date and take money from men in the west to send back home to their husband and family... And yes, I have personally seen that very situation multiple times..

  • I think you are confusing with being social.. Brits are quite social and loud, certainly less introverted than lets say Germans, Scandinavians or Russians.. but more introverted than French, Spanish or Italians..

    Agreed...Brazil is a conundrum of a puzzle.
    How she functions with that huge population,third world poverty,"hidden racism"(please do not say it does not exist as only those that look a certain way can EVER get to the very top positions)and the "elite" there being amongst the richest in the world I frankly do not know.
    But Brazil as a country reflects the current state of her football team.... relying on past memories and deeds and still pretending they have "it" but they have become too....European.
    Brazil now relies entirely on the joy and friendless of her population.❤

  • We use it, but as a synonym for foreigner. It's a bit different for us.

  • For example, a Mexican or a Bolivian can be called gringo in Brazil and it's not pejorative

  • We use Gringo as "Foreigner"
    Not in an offensive way, just mean you're not from our country
