One thing surprises and shocks me every time, that people have so much free time that they could go to a party within a few hours. Donโ€™t those people have plans and duties? Weekdays arenโ€™t usually full from 6am to 9pm?
Our family gathering needs a lot of collation; this saturday ainโ€™t good for him, sunday ainโ€™t good for her, the next weekend others are of town, the following weekend my GFโ€™s family have gathering, the next weekend others got sickโ€ฆ

London is not England. It is its own country and culture. I am an Englishman and when I ask my friends if they want chill at my place, theyโ€™ll come.
